Blyde Adventure Camp is situated in a riverine forest on the banks of the Lower Blyde River on the edge of the Blyde River Canyon.  The Blyde Adventure Camp sleeps up to 160 students in en-suite dorms and 15 adults in shared rooms - all linen and kitchen utensils included.  The Blyde Adventure Camp hosts courses such as Leadership Development, River Guide, Kayaking, and runs programs like Adventure Camps, Leadership Identification, Team Building, Veldskool, Environmental Camps and Holiday Camps.  We include standard activities and meals in our group rates.  All our staff are qualified in their fields and have years of experience.  We are serious about safety and have 24/7 medical emergency standby services from the professionals from Africa Safe-T.

Here at Blyde Adventure Camp we help you with all the arrangements for your group. Our office will help you select the suitable activities for your group based on age, numbers and budget. We then set up a program with the activities that you have selected and then make all the bookings and arrangements for you. The only item that we do not organize is your group’s transport. You do need your own transport for the field trip activities. We offer: adventure camps, leadership camps, educational camps, leadership identification camps, team building camps, touring camps and whatever you had in mind. You’ll find Blyde Adventure Camp at the foot of the Northern Drakensberg, next to the Lower Blyde River, close to a little town called Hoedspruit. So basically we’re surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in our country. You’ll find all sorts of little wild animals in and around our camp. Dinner on the day of arrival, three meals on following days and breakfast on the day of departure. All bedding for the guests in the chalets and a fitted sheet for the guests in the dorms. It’s the largest whitewater festival in South Africa with entries in all race categories from all over the world. Intermediate and beginner kayak races on the Lower Blyde River at the camp. You can book accommodation with us for the duration of the festival. There are no self-catering facilities available at this camp so we make it easy for you by selling food and drinks during the festival. We do not allow any cooler boxes, pets or bad attitudes at our festival.
